Tega Industries Limited is a leading supplier of protective engineered rubber, polyurethane and ceramic products for mining and industrial companies worldwide. Headquartered in India we supply products in 60 countries, through 16 international sales and service offices globally. History
1976 – Tega India limited is incorporated as a licensee of Skega AB, Sweden.
1978 – Our first manufacturing facility in Calcutta, India goes in to commercial production.
1981 – At a test carried out by Skega, it is found that Tega’s product quality outranked by 12% those manufactured by Skega facilities in USA and Sweden.
1984 – Tega enters in to a technical collaboration with A.Tamburini & CSPA for corrosion resistant rubber lining.
1990 – Tega enters in to a joint venture with poly hi Solidur for manufacture of UHMWPE liners in India.
1993 – Tega enters in to an alliance with Hosch for manufacture of Belt Cleaning, Tracking Systems.
1993 – Tega begins manufacturing the Poly-met range of Mill liners now known as Tega PM Liners.
1995 – Entered into collaboration with M/s Richard Mozley , UK
1998 – Tega steps outside of India with its first order from Ghana, Africa.
2002/2003 – Tega sets up subsidiaries in USA and Australia, Swedan, South Africa, Zambia, Ghana
2006 – Acquisition of plant in South Africa
2011 – Tega acquires Acotec in Chile and Losugen in Australia
