We are one of the leading companies regarding replacement parts for your plasma & laser cutting machines. Torch Tech has been around for nine years and our products speaks for it selves.

Our customers are our most important asset.  We guarantee stock availability for our existing customers.

The company was established in 2005 by Paul Botha who studied as instrument maker at CSIR, where he went to Krygkor.    In 1996 Paul was sent to Switzerland to be trained on the Bystronic laser where he put his experience to the test in various companies, thereafter he started his own company where he supplied plasma & laser consumables to the market place.

Because of Paul’s trade he soon realized that replacement parts that are manufactured form a reputable source is not inferior to the other original products. The specs and material are the same. The only difference is that replacement parts cannot have the original trade mark on them.

Torch Tech believes that anybody forcing a company into unfair contracts after warranty periods will be challenged.

The customer must realise they own the machine from the OEM supplier. We train our customers to take ownership as they are allowed to use any product on their machine.  It is unfair business practise to force people into contracts after their warranties expired.

Any agent telling you that the replacement parts are part of the problem you experience, has to give you a report as to why that consumable did not work.  In all honesty, it is impossible to proof that it is because of a consumable, unless it is operator related fault.  As we can’t proof that it is our consumables fault so they can’t prove that is their consumables. Consumables are a wear part and all of them have a certain life time and has to be replaced.

The other argument is that they say they will not repair your machine because of replacement parts – any spare part have to be available and if they sold you a machine they need to repair it and if not you need to contact the manufacturer and tell them that their agent refuses to repair the machine using replacement parts.
