Capes

Capes animal skin is the skin of an animal without the skull or horns. It is used by taxidermists to mount a trophy (bringing the skin and skull together to create a life like image of the animal). Capes animal skin can be classified into shoulder mount capes (just the head, neck and part of the bust), half mount (the head, neck and front feet) and full mount (the whole body including the front and back feet).

All our capes (be it shoulder mount, half mount or full mount capes) are fully tanned with Lutan F and tanning oils. All you have to do on receipt thereof is to rehydrate the skin and it is ready to be mounted.

We stock a wide range of capes and if we do not have it the specie you are looking for, we will surely try our best to find one for you.
