AJM Engineering was established in 1997 and has earned a well-deserved reputation by providing top quality service and maintaining a professional attitude throughout its history. Founder Tony Marques has collectively over 30 years experience in the lifting industry and has built up good personal and one-on-one relationships with his clients over the years.
His dedicated team of highly experienced engineers are continuously developing their range of quality lifting and crane services to support their customers. They are able to offer practical advice and provide the best lifting solutions possible across a variety of different industries, never hesitating to assist their clients with breakdowns and maintenance requirements on a 24-hour basis. He attends to their needs professionally and effectively.
Our manufacturing and warehouse facilities, based in Meadowdale, is where our skilled team designs and manufactures high specification lifting solutions for projects. Our sales, after-sales departments, as well as our friendly administration staff are always on hand to help with any queries immediately and in the best possible way.
The products and spares that we specialize in are ISO 9001 approved and SATRA licensed. All products conform to the highest safety measures, our new lifting equipment is issued with load test certificates, and we carry a full range of spares as well. Our Products carry the SABS ISO 9001 as well as the German NAD European seals of approval and safety.
AJM Engineering is the exclusive South African agent for the ProSTAR Lifting Equipment range as well as Fomotech and Autec remote control systems. We also specialize in a wide variety of other products and spares such as the SMI Handling systems, chain guides and load chains. Our customers are comprised of some of the largest organisations in the country, from various abattoirs and brick manufacturing plants, to the metal, mining, and transporting industries.
The main objective of AJM Engineering is to satisfy the needs of our customers, and to supply them with a product and service of outstanding quality. We were ranked as the top company in its field in South Africa for the years 2002 and 2003, with sales of the ProSTAR brand of electric chain hoists.
