Bogie turntables or Wheelset turntables come in different outer diameters and are comprised of a main steel structure, a central support for rotation and lateral wheels to support loads. They are either manually operated or motorized.  Wheelsets rotating table for tramway or train have load capacities from 2.5Ton to 6Ton and the Bogie rotating table has capacities of  6Ton to 10-15ton

                            Bogie/Wheelset Drop Systems

There are three different types of Bogie Drop Systems.

The first is a a big pit or underfloor tunnel and machine that has a scissor lifting device or a screw lifting system

The second is a medium pit and machine that contains a screw lifting system.

The last has no pit but has a screw lifting system . 

Depending on the type of train only two supports are need for the coach. The movable frame for the “no pit” type is a steel frame with four lifting points and four Steel Wheels that can be removed laterally.  The length of the frame allows the person operating the system to remove the modules that are fixed under the coach of the train using a special interface.

Dummy Bogie – Equipped With Car Lifting Device and Motorized:

Auxiliary/Dummy Bogies with a capacity from 10 to 25 Tons are composed of a main steel structure with a central supporting bar for the train car and four wheels. They can be either manually operated or motorized, while the support bar can be either adjusted or in a fixed position. If required the bogie can turn or remain fixed in accordance with the clients requirements.

This traditional bogie has two sets of wheels with axles via a front pair of wheels and a rear of wheels for enabling running of the wagon on rails. The wheels are immovably fitted the axle, which turns together while running and are held in position by the H frame at the end of the axles through boxes. It is the H frame which plays a major part for the ultimate behaviour of the bogie.

Locomotive Turntables 

We are able to supply different machines in accordance with specifications set out by the client. With a starting load capacity of 60Ton to 250Ton, which includes a bridge length from 20 meters to 30 meters or more, the machine can be installed with a pit or without one. It can also be either fully automated or semi automatic depending on the requirements of the client.

Traversers

As with the Locomotive Turntables the Traverser are supplied is accordance with the unique requirements of the client with a starting load capacity of 60Ton to 250Ton and a bridge length from 20 meters. It can be installed with or without a Pit and can be either fully automated or semi automatic in keeping with the clients specification.

 Working Platforms For Roof Access:

Different platforms for roof access can be supplied either fixed to the floor or anchored to the roof. There are fences and movable automated slides to cover the distance between train and platform to ensure that activities are safe, ergonomic and efficient. The different platforms are controller by a main control unit that has checks and guarantees to ensure that the men are working in safe conditions. the platforms can be supplied with lighting, utilities and personal safety equipment.
