ETFE Ethylene Tetrafluoroethylene

Due to the excellent dielectric strength and volume resistivity of ETFE(Ethylene Tetrafluoroethylene), insulation wall thickness of cables is reduced giving excellent heat dissipation. This is particularly noticeable in floor heating installations .

Microcircuit produces ETFE wires and cables of various sizes and grades:

• Commercial: wire sizes from 0.2mm² to 7.2mm²

• American Wire Gauge (AWG) (in accordance to Military Specs -mechanical MIL-W-22759/16) :
  Wire sizes from 24AWG to 8AWG

• Multicore Cables: made to customer requirements

 High Temperature ETFE Extruder and Control Unit and stranding machines used for the manufacturing of wires , cables and floor surface heating elements .

Floor surface heating elements are manufactured from resistive wire of Nickel-Chrome, Copper-Nickel or Copper wire content and insulated with ETFE copolymer compound.

Our floor surface heating products range consist of element wire from 300 Watts to 3000 Watts, available in bulk quantities or as individually terminated heaters.

Large variety of retrigeration defrost elements and drain heaters are available as standard items. The elements are made with wire-wound core and insulated with high temperature PVC. They may also be supplied in 4.5mm aluminium tubing. We also make defrost elements to customer specification.

A large selection of cable elements and aluminium laminated foil heaters for pets and reptiles are manufactured with wire wound elements.
