Richard Irons Plant Rentals was founded by Richard Irons in 1982. In 1991 Richard Irons Plant Rentals added skid-steer loaders to their fleet and added CAT TLB’s to their fleet in 1992

In 1992 to 2002 the company increased and changed their fleet from CASE to CAT’s and JCB’s. In 2005 it purchased it’s own Mercedes Lowbed Truck.

In 2008-2009 the fleet was decreased due to ill health of Richard Irons.

Since 2011 the company increases it’s fleet of TLB’s and continues to modernise the fleet and changes brands to JCB due to better reliability.

In 2013 the company’s fleet consists of TLB’s, Skid-Steer Loaders and it’s own Lowbed Truck.

We specialise in construction and industrial plant hire.
