The company VAN ZYL BOORWERKE was established in 1970 by the father J.J. van Zyl, the three sons, Hannes, Martin and Dirk took over the drilling business and are still running the business.

PRECUSSION DRILLING

They can drill up to 1000m. The deepest hole that we have drilled was for Board Long year with a depth of 1500m.
Compressor:  Atlas Copco  30 bar compressor.
Sampels are taken with a cyclone and splitters.
Drill size:  from 5 1/2″ up to 15″
Drill water well holes and geological direction holes

DIAMOND CORE DRILLING

Drill up to 2000m BQ.
Angle drilling available
Drill from BQ up to PQ.

We also do the building of core riggs as well as precussion drilling rigs.
